Hafner first arrived in Malaga

Nov.1904 Ernst Hafner first arrived in Malaga at the age of twenty, a month after having successfully fulfilled his compulsory military service prescribed by the Federal Government.

1902 Hafner 's schoolmate and best friend, Antonio Miro, once having finished College in Solothurn (Switzerland) at the age of 18, would go back to his parents' own businesses in Malaga.

On that same year, Ernst Hafner had accepted a bank clerk job in Zürich.

1904 - Ernst Hafner received a letter from his friend Antonio Miro suggesting that it might be in Hafner 's own benefits to applying for a promising job challenge abroad, that had just been posted by a local export company.

They were searching for an experienced professional with Business Administration Background and fluent in German and English, to taking care of their Foreign Bureau.
